Our client, a 54 year old woman, was struck head-on by a drunk driver.  She suffered several arm, leg, and ankle fractures.  The drunk driver was actually represented by 2 insurance companies, one of which tried to deny the claim.  We filed suit, and both companies settled just prior to trial for $475,000.  As with most cases against drunk drivers, we worked closely with an expert toxicologist to prove the other driver's impairment.  This case caught the attention of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), and we were happy to work the case in connection with their efforts.
