The incident reportedly occurred at the intersection of Route 28 (Catlett Road) and Independence Avenue in Bealeton just before 5 p.m. The 17-year-old, who was driving a 1995 Mercury Tracer, had stopped on Independence Avenue, according to a Fauquier County deputy's report. But when it was his turn to proceed, the teen allegedly went straight instead of making a right turn. Oliver H. Corbin, 65, of Catlett was driving a 1999 GMC north on Route 28 when he hit the teen's car, police said. The impact pushed the Tracer into a nearby fence. The teen was medivaced from the scene, police said. Corbin and two others were also transported to the hospital by EMS personnel. Charges are pending.
