Head-on collision on U.S. 15 takes life of Haymarket man

A Haymarket man died March 11 from injuries sustained in a head-on collision last month on U.S. 15 in Loudoun County, near the Prince William County line. Talmage Eugene Simpkins, 79, of Haymarket was traveling south on U.S. 15 in a 2002 Buick Park Avenue, just after 1 p.m. on Feb. 24, when a 1991 Chevrolet station wagon struck him head-on.
