This collision occurred on a busy Warrenton street. Our client, a motorcyclist, was struck by a driver who attempted a quick (and unlawful) u-turn into his immediate path. As often occurs, the other driver was insured, but did not have enough coverage for our client's serious injuries. We were able to find additional coverage - known as underinsured motorist coverage - from two separate policies which applied to the case. This is a good example of why all drivers, but especially motorcyclists, should carry as much uninsured motorist coverage as possible.
